FAQ’s for HealthCare
Facilities
1. What sets HealthPro apart from the
other staffing agencies?
HealthPro has been an industry leader in
healthcare staffing, such as Physical
Therapists; Occupational Therapists;
Registered Nurses, since 1999. Since
that time HealthPro has developed an
extensive client list of healthcare
facilities throughout the New York Metro
Area, New Jersey, Florida, and other
U.S. states. In response to a domestic
shortage of Nurses, we were one of the
first agencies to initiate recruitment
overseas and domestic recruitment in
Puerto Rico. HealthPro currently
maintains satellite offices in Puerto
Rico, Korea, and Philippines.

2. Why sign on with HealthPro?
HealthPro recruits qualified healthcare
workers domestically and from overseas.
HealthPro screens these healthcare
workers and handles any and all legal
issues concerning the foreign
sponsorships of these healthcare
workers. HealthPro obtains any and all
necessary immigration documents
permitting these individuals to be
lawfully employed in the Untied States.
It assists foreign healthcare workers
with obtaining Visa Screen Certificates
from the CGFNS as currently required by
U.S. regulations and with their NCLEX
and/or licensure applications in
expeditious manner. HealthPro ensures
that any and all licensures and
registrations as well as any necessary
immigration documents are valid and
current (i.e. Work Permits, U.S. Work
Visas, professional U.S. licenses and
registrations). HealthPro assists its
healthcare workers with relocation
process to state of its intended
employment.
3. Who is the sponsor/petitioner of
these foreign health care workers?
HealthPro is the direct sponsor of its
foreign healthcare workers (i.e.
Physical Therapists, Occupational
Therapists, and Registered Nurses).
HealthPro takes all of the anxiety upon
itself to recruit, screen,
sponsor/petition, and obtain any and all
necessary immigration documents
permitting its foreign recruits to be
lawfully employed in the U.S. HealthPro
covers any and all Immigration filing
and legal fees related to such foreign
sponsorships.
4. Where do HealthPro’s recruits come
from?
HealthPro recruits its healthcare
workers domestically and
internationally. Domestic Recruits
include those from Puerto Rico and
international ones currently come from
Philippines and Korea. These healthcare
workers undergo a competitive selection
process and are highly scrutinized by
our professional and knowledgeable
staff.
5. When does HealthPro’s recruits
commitment starts and for how long?
• Healthcare workers are ready to
commence their assignments with the
Healthcare Facility when all of the
following occur: upon signing an
agreement with HealthPro; upon issuance
of either an employment Authorization
Document (Work Permit) or work visa by
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service
(“US CIS”); and upon obtaining either a
limited permit to practice in ones
profession or a fully unrestricted
professional license in the state of
intended employment.
• The duration of each healthcare
worker’s commitment to HealthPro is from
18 months to 3 years. At the end of the
commitment period, the facility is
welcomed to explore a more permanent and
direct employment with the healthcare
worker.
6. How can we pre-select the healthcare
staff for our vacant positions utilizing
HealthPro’s recruits?
HealthPro can assist Healthcare
Facilities with assessing its staffing
goals and needs (or par levels).
HealthPro will forward resumes of
qualified candidates and will make these
individuals available for personal
interviews with your Healthcare
Facility. HealthPro encourages
Healthcare Facilities to conduct
independent interviews of our highly
professional and qualified candidates.
